Plan Reviews can be customized to fit the Jurisdiction's, Developer's and Client's requirements.  Colibryn's fees are a percentage of the Jurisdiction's review fees.  Colibryn will negotiate a mutually agreed upon fee for 

Developer and Client projects.

First review cycle is typically completed in 2 weeks 

(10 business days).  Larger or complex project review 

cycle may be longer and is often negotiated to match construction schedules.

First and second review cycles are included in the

 percentage-based and mutually agreed upon fees.   Additional review cycles will be a mutually agreed upon hourly rate.

Our services are such that we can adjust to uncommon construction requirements, such as phased permitting 

(e.g. foundation only, shell/core only, etc.). 

Inspections

Colibryn performs Building and Fire Inspections as directed by the Jurisdiction or Client.  All of our Inspectors are ICC Certified or registered in their area of expertise.  They are uniquely qualified and can support digital or traditional inspections. 

 They work diligently to find solutions should concerns arise.  Colibryn's inspectors are always compliant with 

applicable Building, MEP and Fire-Life-Safety codes.   

 Inspection services include the following:

• Review of all approved plans, specifications and documents.
• Review and response to all inspection requests and reports.
• Attend mandatory meetings including safety training and other management requested meetings.

Staff Support 

As Jurisdictional needs change and fluctuate, Colibryn 

can supply Plan Review and Support Staff to assist the Residential/Commercial Building Departments.

We can provide stop-gap coverage for long term solutions

 and anything in between.   We can also assist and train a Jurisdiction through the implementation of a digital system.

Colibryn also supports Architects and Engineers who contract us as a 3rd party.  We help expedite their plan review process instead of them going directly through the Jurisdiction.
 

Speeding up the Approval Process

We all know the quicker the approval is received, the sooner the project can begin, resulting in cost-efficiencies for Jurisdictions, Developers and Clients.  Our staff has an understanding of each of their specifications.  This allows Colibryn to address or correct concerns before project plans are submitted.  We accomplish this through close interaction in the development phase and conducting pre-submittal meetings, so final project plans                   can be expedited and approved faster.
